Azzurra
Conceived by the famous Kiwi designer Bruce Farr, the 47.7 is every inch a performance yacht, from her big fractional rig to her deep fin keel. Without getting too technical, you can get an idea of the 47.7’s performance from the fact that these boats compete in the top class in most of the races they take part in. In the annual Round The Island Race, involving over 1,500 yachts, First 47.7s race in the top class, containing about 50 boats.
The 47.7 is a good-looking boat from every point of view, with hi-tech fittings on deck and lots of glossy, curvy woodwork below.
High performance doesn’t mean you compromise on comfort. With a length overall of 48ft6 and a beam of 14ft9, the First 47.7 has acres of deck space and a huge cockpit. And for those used to the cramped accommodation of older yachts, the real revelation comes below deck – an exceptionally roomy saloon with plenty of room for a wonderful lunch.
These yachts can accommodate up to 12 guests
We have five First 47.7 yachts available to meet the needs of larger groups.
